We are Wallingford Community Land Trust Limited a Community Benefit Society registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. Our purpose is to acquire and manage property in Wallingford for the long-term benefit of the local community.

If you have registered an interest or signed up for updates, we will use your name and email address to send you information about Wallingford CLT's progress, future fundraisers and share offers, and community engagement. Who we share your data with

We use the following services to help us communicate and manage information. These services process your data on our behalf and are required to keep it secure and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Services and what they are used for:

Google Forms / Google Workspace: Collecting expressions of interest in the business of the Society, joining our email service

MemberMojo: Managing Membership applications 

Both services operate data processing agreements compliant with UK GDPR. Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

How long we keep your data

Members: for the duration of your membership and for six years afterwards, as required by our Rules and financial record-keeping obligations.

Newsletter subscribers and registered supporters: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, or after three years of inactivity — whichever is sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Ask us to correct any inaccurate data

• Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances

• Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent to process your data

• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests

• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
